I first met Shaun and Caroline to talk about their wedding photography in Lickey Hills a few months before their wedding. You know you going to get along when you find out you have mutual friends and go to the same clubs.
After a drink in the local pub headed to the grounds of the wedding venue to take a few pre wedding photos. Typical British weather would usually be off-putting for some couples. But not Shaun and Caroline, braving the rain we still managed to get some great pictures.
Wedding at Old Rose and Crown, Birmingham
The bride was wearing a vintage wedding dress, the same one her grandmother wore for her wedding. Caroline’s grandmother could not have looked anymore proud. Caroline arrived with her dad in his 1978 vintage car.
After the wedding breakfast we went out for a few wedding portraits. Mirroring the pre-shoot the weather turned, and in trooper style the Robinson’s never battered an eye lid.
As I expected from Shaun and Caroline, the evening party kicked in with a kick ass playlist; dance floor full from the off, and didn’t empty until the last tune.
The newlyweds Mr and Mrs Robinson had a tagline of #meettherobinsons2016 for all their guests to use on mobile photo uploads.
