Music lovers Paul and Lydia chose Brighton and Hove as their Celebrant ceremony location. A punk themed handfasting and a wine ceremony, with Nightmare Before Christmas individual cupcakes on the beach.

Paul and Lydia got married in Birmingham earlier in the year in a Celebrant ceremony, with a semi traditional, family inclusive theme.
They wanted an intimate ceremony with just the two of them present. Brighton was their chosen location, and the ceremony took place on Brighton beach on Paul’s birthday. Their ceremony included a handfasting, and the cords were Sex Pistol album colours themed.
They also had a wine ceremony on the beach, it was a personal and touching service written and performed by Ellie from Alternative Ceremonies, who also performed their first wedding ceremony a few months previously.
Paul and Lydia are mad about music, and a Nightmare Before Christmas, and Angel Food Bakery supplied individual cupcakes to which their two favourite characters Jack and Sally were added.
They both looked fantastic with their tattoos and alternative style, and managed to stay looking cool in the extreme heat. After their intimate ceremony, I took them both for a few wedding portraits, and they rocked!
